Onkhosei
Onkhosei was cared for by his mum along with his siblings. His mum struggled to care for everyone with no income. There wasn't much support available to his mum. When our outreach team came to know of his situation they went to visit him in Khongkang village and agreed for him to be taken into the care of the orphanage. Since coming into the care of the orphanage he told us that he now has nice clothes, more food to eat, new friends and people to talk to when he feels down. He also told us that he is very happy that he can go to school again which he couldn’t do after his dad died. He is now in class 5 at the Cornerstone Academy (Private school in Pallel). His favourite subject is English. He is still in contact and visits his mum.
He is happy that he has the opportunity now to go to Sunday school where he can take part in church activities and singing. He has learnt more about Jesus since coming to the orphanage and said ‘thank-you’ for being given the chance to come into the Agape family. He said that he has been given back his life and he prays that we will always be there to help him.
When he grows up he wants to be Preacher.
