Images used to represent the website and the orphanage are also trademarks and may not be used without the direct written permission of the owner of the image. The images used to represent the orphanage and the website are known as logos and at June 2008 includes the blue globe logo and the gold Agape-CH banner logo. These logos have been created or recreated/digitalised by Martin Blackburn. Ownership of the logos other than the blue globe is held by Martin Blackburn. Permission has been given to Martin Blackburn digitalise and present the blue globe logo of Agape Children's Home on the Agape-CH.org website.

The collected visual appearance and user experience offered by this website including any specific layout, colour schemes and pictures are considered to be the design of the website as a whole. Fund Raising Activities

This website is intended to be a non-profit website but does work to raise funds and awareness or the Agape Children's Home and its activities. Any efforts to raise funds on this website or by this website on external websites are done so in an honest attempt to generate funds to support the Agape Children's Home in its work to protect and support orphan children in its local region.

Funds raised by this website will be stored in a personal bank account (most cost-effective option) and used firstly to maintain and develop this website as agreed between the orphanage and the website owner. All funds remaining after funding the operation of this website will be transferred to the orphanage. The orphanage is presented with copies of financial statements upon request to account for the money being paid to the website under the name of Agape Children's Home. As previously stated, this website is a separate entity from the orphanage and operates with the sole purpose of supporting Agape Children's Home as agreed between the orphanage and the website owner. Neither the owner of this website nor any person helping with the operation of the website receives any regular financial payment for their activities and is involved in a voluntary basis. There exists no contract of employment between the orphanage/website owner and any other person involved in the website.

No contract exists between the orphanage/website owner and any person offering support to the website or the orphanage. Neither the orphanage nor the website owner or those involved in the website will hold any legally binding obligation to those providing support to the website unless a written contract is created detailing the specific obligations of the orphanage/website owner (or others involved in the website) which is agreed and signed by all of the concerned parties.

The Agape-CH.org website operates fund raising activities on external platforms including ebay.co.uk and other websites. These activities are bound by the terms of use presented by the external organisations. Funds raised will be used as described in the above paragraphs.

The orphanage and the website owner may be involved from time to time in providing support to those who choose to hold fund raising/awareness raising activities in their region of the world. Again, no contract of employment will exist in these situations nor will any implied arrangement of financial payment. Financial payments for such activities will be detailed in a written contract to be agreed by all of the concerned parties. It is the responsibility of the individual taking responsibility for the fund raising activity to ensure that all of the funds raised are paid to the website owner or orphanage in full. Any dishonest attempt to use the orphanage or website's name to raise funds in a personal or commercial capacity will be dealt with specifically using the related laws. This also extends to the deliberate attempts to damage the name or reputation of the orphanage or website.

The website owner is under no obligation to publicly publish information on how donated money will or has been spent. Refund or any donation of gift may not be possible after the donation or gift has been made.

Legal Status

All of the activities of this website and those involved with the website/website owner in relation to the website and its purpose are governed by Scots Law. This website is owned and operated by Martin Blackburn in Edinburgh, Scotland (UK). Further more, Agape-CH.org does not have a separate legal personality nor is it a registered charity or business entity and therefore any contracts created are done so in a personal capacity with someone involved with the website's operation. No obligation will exist from the owner of the website to any other party for any reason unless specifically detailed and agreed upon by both parties in a written contract.
